VVVVRrrrrrooooommmmm!

Disclaimer: No part of narration in this blog is fictional. All characters are original and any resemblance to those living or dead is purely intentional. If you have a phobia of “I”s, “me”s, “my”s, rigmarole narrations, or heavy doses of self-praise and self-deprecation, my sincere advice is that you drop the idea of progressing to the next post and target reading a nice Jeffrey Archer novel instead (Trust me, once you’ve finished reading that book, you’ll thank your stars and me, for this warning).

To whoever has survived the tremors of my first warning, and is patient and tolerant enough to be reading this, I’m me – the coffee bean…

Who am I?

Mirrors under eyebrows!

Mirrors under eyebrows!

I realized my purpose of living very late in my life… but well before it was too late. I had gone through a number of phases assuming my life’s purpose to be ranging from worrying myself stiff about a nonexistent meteoroid on its way to blow earth up into pieces, or get elected to the class monitor’s position giving it whatever it takes, or trying to prove I am intelligent to anyone who cares to notice, or merely putting others at unease.

To be honest, in the days so far, the memory has not always been a pleasant lingering image. It has, at times, been a sore wound over which I have frantically tried to pour water. There have been moments which had simply stumped me, leaving me groping for some way to get out of the gloom. There have also been moments which have made me wonder if there really was a guardian angel hovering over my head, waving a magic wand. There have been simple yet remarkable delights, and a dose of cursed incidents.

There have been times when I have wanted to laugh from the depth of my belly out of sheer joy, and times when I had wanted to wrench the Face of my Creator off His Neck! There have been lessons I had learnt the hard way, and some that I learnt with a smile on my face.

But to narrate it all needs a generous supply of organized patience of the mind, and since this is something I have always lacked – both the patience and the mind, to the agony of many, I have put in the best of my efforts to make reading my blog easy, as easy as it would be for you to follow. Everything in the world usually begins with a dawn and the consequences of impactful changes… and so does my story begin – with a sunrise, a celebration, and a little luck.

  12. that’s impressive!

  13. Like the new look … was going to suggest to you …to get some brightness…. hope you dont mind if I have any suggestion in future.

    • Lebs, a bbbig thanks for the prompt feedback. :) Of course, I would love to hear your suggestions for my blog, so please don’t ever hold them back.
In fact, I would be glad if you could tutor me on the WordPress themes and widgets…

      • :) …. I am going to imagine you did not say that … have you seen my blog… it is ancient with none of the fancy stuff…but I thank you for a warm compliment … about providing Free Advice … I am the architect of that building ….lol !!

      • LOL :) No way Leb, I feel that there are moments when a stable and sturdy blog style goes a long way even without the fancy stuff. I really did like your mugshot badge and the footprints widget. You have used widgets sparingly but well. :)
And speaking of widgets, I am still dumb enough to be figuring out where I am supposed to add the blogs I follow, so you’re way ahead.

  14. O thank you … for your kind words … do use harsh truth when commenting on my blog … ;)

  15. Oh one more thing … there is no ahead … it is a walk … in the clouds ….of blogosphere … at your own pace …how philosophical is that … lol !!

  16. Good going. Just remember one thing if you are new to blogosphere…..here bloggers blog like celebrities and celebrities blog like bloggers :-) keep rocking!

    • Hey thanks for visiting Anto. That was one solid sound advice. LOL. And I did get the drift of what you said, since I am indeed considerably new to blogosphere and I seem to be learning all the good lessons the hard way. :)

  17. Hey,
Came across your blog via Indiblogger. Very nice English there; your writing reminds me of reminds me Mark Twain & P.G. Woodhouse kind of literature :) . One suggestion : I hope we’ll get to see some light stuff too. This English , though beautiful, tends to get heavy when overused :D

    • Hey Pavan, thanks for visiting pal and for those nice words. And “heavy when overused” is perfect, for myself too. I can’t bear to read this page more often than once a month, so I can understand your plight too well. :) And please, don’t worry, overdose of heavy writing is not what I like either. There would be a lot of light stuff around – except for the verses section I guess… I really admire your funny poems blog post, and I seriously believe it takes a lot of effort to attempt humorous poetry and I am afraid I am not there yet. :(

  18. and so does my story begin – with a sunrise, a celebration, and a little luck.

Like the last line. When we are reflected in a mirror, we take who we are rather comparing to unknown images. Being” I” is self and inventing ourselves to know better. Its just like reading a body of self.

    • I totally agree Pria. And thanks so much for visiting my space. :) The last line is inspired from the lines of a lot of fiction that I had read… The story invariably seems to begin with one or all of those three. :)

  19. The name Cofee Bean is interesting. Thanks for adding me to your indi network, Following you as well.

  20. Cute blog. Keep at it.

    Best,
    Shail

One hell of a start, going to follow.. And I’m reading your other posts too.

And love the theme, I ought to try it.. But I’m too lazy to make any changes, Ah well some other time..

    See you around :D !!!

  24. Hey CB! Bin here already before… here now again… Typical ur style… all stretched ideas wid a wry sense of humour.. keep at it ;-)
